Corfu ???. Has a strange arrangement when it comes to shuttle busses taking you from the ship to the Get on the bus - drive you 200 yards - chuck you off to walk through a small building - put you on another bus and drive you into town.
I have no idea what that is all about.

SWMBO wasn?t feeling too good (she is blaming a cocktail she downed before heading to the theatre last night) so I headed off into the old town ?. via the strange bus system ?.. and ended up spending most of the time in the Old Fortress (12 centuary apparently - well the walls might have been but not much else as far as I could see).

Before getting back on the shuttle bus I sat and watched a bit of cricket on the green.
Yes - they play cricket on Corfu (the only place\ in Greece seemingly) - and today was a championship day.

After lunch we took a bus tour of (some) of the island. It was very interesting with some fantastic views from the top of the very narrow and twisty road?.. on which several cars had to reverse to allow the coach to pass.
At one point we had to sit at a red light on a very steep, very narrow road for 15 minutes due to some prat abandoning his car in front of the motion sensor thus preventing anything moving up or down the mountain (it was a long section controlled by the light which is why it took so long to get the tit to move his car).

We are now sailing past Albania at a distance of about 200 yards.
Why so close?
No idea.
But SWMBO is threatening to flash the Albanians and start an international incident. She must be feeling better.
