Fond Farewell

This is one of the latest buildings to be coming down in Liverpool, but i have to say this one looks better here than in its prime.

MrSmith probably wont remember this but after a fantastic night in 2005 when Liverpool won the Champions League (many thanks MV) i was attempting to pour my brother home to my pad when we ended up dancing in the planters outside this pub, Coopers, on The Strand. It was having a lock in and with a little encouragement we ended up entering via the windows for a nightcap.

Ah fond memories, especially of MrSmith falling over a hedge later to be found lying on his back in some old womans garden, still waving his little champions league flag :)
