today the sea was bountiful

We often get wood washed up on the beach which we take home and burn on the stove. Today we got exceptionally lucky and recovered this huge chunk of tree that had floated up or down the river.
It's good hard wood too, and not the been in the water too long. It'll keep us warm for a few weeks next winter.
