A Tessellation of Insulation
Definition: "A tessellation of the plane is a collection of plane figures that fills the plane with no overlaps and no gaps" - which is just what is required in our highly insulated 'Low Resource' home.
Russell Docker our site manager did this splendid panel of insulation and, as you can see, it is beautifully cut and bonded. Two layers of this dense insulation fill the 450mm thick walls and Russell has made sure all the nooks and crannies around the steel support structure have been filled.
