Very noisy indeed

A new toy and a new noise in the house.
Had I realised before agreeing to the new cornets how loud they could be, I may have seen sense and said no when the girls asked if they could start having cornet lessons.

This afternoon, I took one of the girls to see the opthamologist for an eye sight check. Last time we went her eyesight had improved considerably. This time however was quite the opposite. Naughty girl has not been wearing her glasses and her vision has deteriorated.
She now has got to go back to wearing a patch on the good eye for a couple of hours a day. She has always insisted that she wears them at school all day. On talking to her new teacher later on today, it seems that this is not the case.
