A slice of Lesley's life

Man in full flow

You find me at the end of a brilliant evening learning much about information systems and 'next practice' vs 'best practice'. All accompanied by a lovely glass, or two, of NZ Sauvignon and a left over chicken and chorizo risotto.

The more cynical amongst you might take a Jackson view of the world, "are you being sarcastic?". But you'd be wrong. It was genuinely fascinating and insightful. Not least because it helped me understand what my husband is going on about all the time but also because I have an ulterior motive it helped with enormously. But more on that another time...

You could have been treated to blips of either or both kids painting their creations for C's birthday on Wednesday. But that just gives me a blip in the bank.

Today has also mainly included the (slightly annoying) 6 trips to and from school and a Spanish lesson. None of which were blipworthy.

So here he is, man of the moment (well he is turning forty this week) talking about 'stuff' and drawing on a blackboard. What else could you want from a Monday night?
