Arklow Irish pottery

Bought these two saucers in a little bric a brac shop in Malin Head (of the shipping forecast fame) over the weekend, as I needed somewhere to keep my bits and bobs of jewellery handy this month. It was the shade of green that attracted me, but it turns out they're Irish pottery - Arklow pottery, no longer in production. They weren't expensive, but I rather like them. I'm finding out that when I work away like this for a month that I really need to make myself a little 'home'. Bb and I even had to make a trip to the flat pack emporium on Saturday to get a wee table and chair! They may well be blipped yet if this dreich weather continues!
