Kaikoura
10 days later and we're still having quakes, getting smaller and less frequent (sort of) but I'm finding that I am waking up to them now, event done to 3.3. Run for the door, or lie in bed? Having said that, yesterday at the office I discovered lots of people just stayed in bed for the big one, I am sure I wouldn't have!
Anyway, off to Auckland today, nice spring day to be leaving. Back in the office, back in the travel routine, life seems normal again after last weeks madness.
Talked to the NZ Herald today as they are interested in the stories of businesses who have survived the quake. They might even be linking to blip, I wasn't keen initially given this is my "private space", but actually I think it's a good idea to see a locals perspective on the quake.
Out to dinner with Mum and Dad tonight, and a night off aftershocks ;-)
Oh yes, this is the Clarence River, the Inland Kaikoura sand in the distance the Kaikoura peninsular. Probably will be some whales there somewhere ;-)
