Her Majesty The Queen

When we moved to Speyside the thing we least expected was so many visits by Royalty!

First Prince Charles opening the new wing at The Glenlivet and then HRH The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Princess Anne at the Braemar Gathering.

The Queen and Prince Philip visited Gordonstoun
today to open the new sports hall. Isabella and the cast of Les Miserables performed select pieces in the Ogstoun Theatre for the Royal visitors.

Louisa, Grandma Jenny and I were in the theatre seated immediately behind The Queen, 2 rows back with nobody between us!!. It was an experience not to be missed.

Afterwards the cast were presented to Her Royal Highness and The Duke, who immediately made a beeline for Bella. They were engaged in conversation for a minute or two, time enough for Bella to tell him about the cast and her hopes for the future.

The Queen spoke to Bella's friends Mikey, Oscar and Kim.

An amazing day. Isabella said 'the best of her life'
