"The Open Road"

Today after working for 52 years I have finally retired. If I look back over those years I have some fantastic memories, and I now look forward to some similar times in retirement.
Mrs OE (The Keeper Of The Purse) has a certain list of requirements that if I complete will ensure peace within the house and Bracken "that dog" has intimated that walks will be at a more regular time and not "when I can fit a walk in!"
I am looking forward to the new challenges and hope that I am able to fulfil them and if not!

The Caravan Calls!!

What a stunning means of locomotion!
What a glorious and stirring sight!
As powerful as the open ocean,
As graceful as a swan in flight!
Now that's the way to really travel,
Oh, how its fenders gleamed and glowed!
Here today, next week tomorrow,
That's the life on the open road.
