We are Golden

Well, Settle was this evening.
It looks far more peaceful in the photograph - not conveying the near gale force winds accompanying the break between downpours.

Downpours seem to be the theme of life at the minute. And this looks set to continue, for me at least. A short break in Venice is predicted to be beset by thunderstorms. This would be less galling if the prediction wasn't for unbroken sunshine either side of our visit!
