Fluffy Paw

Today has been the first day in AGES that we've not had ANYTHING to worry about. No early alarm for work, no going to collect a new cat, no bed delivery, no medical or vet appointments, no nights away from home, no concerts, gigs, parties, conferences, lunches, essential shopping, or anything else that HAD to be done.

So we slept until 9 or so, had breakfast at 11. Watched some DVDs, both fell fast asleep on the sofa, had lunch, watched some videos, had wine & crisps, had supper, watched TV, and now we're heading bedwards.

The cat rehoming continues to be delightful. Dexter is a wonderful, friendly and charming feline. We've had the utility door open today so he has been able to see the other cats for the first time, and they've seen him. All has gone well. Smudge has been outside again for a short spell, and everyone has had lots of cuddles and love from us both!

Just a quiet domestic day then, the washing machine burbling, the TV burbling, cats & people all chilled out! Smudge was fast asleep when I took this picture showing just how hairy her paws are! I just love the way the fur grows out from between her toes!
