now i see a darkness
...or, Cartrouble Part2
A grey and oppressive sky dominated the afternoon, resulting in pitch dark by 4pm.
I usually get to see the sunset on the way home from work, but not today.
The winter hasn't really set in yet, but already getting that claustrophobic sensation that the early nights combined with the 9 to 5 brings.
Eventually collected the Volvo from the garage today and it appears to have developed a ghost problem. No, it doesn't need exorcising, but has a habit of just stopping dead at random moments. Garage bods can't find anything wrong with it and say it ran fine through all their rigorous tests. Hmmm. 200 yards into the journey home...phut phut phut, STOP!! ****!!
Maybe it's me?
Maybe I need to sort the feng shui out?
Maybe I should just sacrafice it to the great norse god of fire?
Mrs DM has gone to collect her baby sis from the airport. She's returning back from a trek around Nepal. Looking forward to hearing the tales from that trip... the Nepal trip, not the one to the airport ;-)
All is calm in the DM household. Fire lit, tunes on, Juniors 1 and 2 are sketching and reading, and the dog is snoring. Peace.
