Many thanks

Last night was finally the multimedia presentation about our 1st trip to Nepal & the work we do for the orphanage. Namaste Childrens House

Around 50 folk came on on a rather rough September Monday night to join us.

I was suprised & delighted to see Derek for the Alford Rotary Club who I did a presentation to in August about our work.

The Rotary presented a cheque for £250 at the end of the evening which was very kind & generous.

During the evening we showed award winning film Nepal In The Mountain's Shadow

We also had Nepalse dancing, food provided by Aberdeen's only sit in Nepalese restaurant The Gurkha Chef Aberdeen

Also jewellery & handicrafts on sale & a PowerPoint presentation by myself.

It's great for us to pass on the pictures, information & experiences we had in Nepal & at the orphanage to the people who have supported our work over the past 14 months.

We raised another £800 last night which takes us to just over £9,500 so far.

Thanks so much to everybody.

Pictured is Derek from the Rotary Club presenting the cheque to me at the end of the night.
