Dinner for two

Tonight, T and I had plans to have "brinner" at Kerbey Lane with two of my friends and their kiddos. They have awesome pancakes. However, T had to stay home sick from school with a cold today, and so, we had to skip it. Instead, he and I went to another location of Kerbey's by ourselves. It turned out to be "kid's eat free" night, bonus, and we had a great time.
It prompted me to make this status update on facebook: Nicole Paine is home after a great dinner with my little man at Kerbey Lane. I am sitting there thinking, to myself, how nice it is, just me and him, and he turns to me and says: Isn't this nice? Just me and you?
Not happy he was sick and I had to miss work, but, I love taking care of my boy.
