Heirlooms

There are two heirlooms in this picture...the first of which was made by my dad for our youngest when she was about 7 or 8 and got her first American Girl Doll. That would be the bed these dolls are sitting on...actually it's two beds which we bunked when our daughter used them and now our granddaughter is using them. Of the two dolls she has on the bed, one of them is an American Girl Doll which is also an heirloom from her dad's sister from when she was much younger.

Very cute that her two aunts are allowing her to use and play with things that once was very special to them...definitely makes them extra special...the toys and the aunts!
