Waddling ducks

Today, was another good day! Mostly sunny and again I was overdressed : )
Now we are back in the Bay of Plenty, the reality over wamer days still needs to sink in.

On our before dinner walk today, the boys were off,.....
Once nature settled back to peace as their blast of energy had passed, I had another encounter with 'the ducks'. This pretty bunch of white ducks seems to be at home in this corner of the river. They came up the little ramp, quacking excitedly, until they realised it was just me and the camera, no bread, sorry. Then I took a few shots with the last one being a line of ducks back in the river. I'll try to save some bread for a next visit, if it wasn't for the boys eating their crusts. They might let me take some close-ups if I feed them?
