Pre-Autumn Sunrise

6.30 this morning and the low sun just about to rise above the Houlland Hill in Sandwick.

The old adage about Red Sky in the morning is true today and worryingly the wind is picking up for the next 36 hours and I'm due on the ferry to Aberdeen on Friday night. It's a Northerly so will be behind us on the section down to Orkney so here's hoping.
