The guardian at the gate..

Here I am in Cambridge for a 24 hour meeting, and staying at Westminster College. A quick walk down town this evening took me past Magdalene, St John's and Trinity - arriving, of course, at the iconic King's College.

King's was founded by Henry VI a year after he had completed Eton College - and there are similarities. King's College Chapel is hailed as the finest Gothic building in Europe - and today it has been especially famous since 1928 for the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols sung each Christmas Eve by the choir in the chapel. Rupert Brook, E M Forster and Maynard Keynes were all undergraduates.

This lady is clearly the most stylish dressed "bouncer" in the security world. I would not choose to upset her!
