Manchester in the rain (!)

I'm finding it really tough to get time to get out with my camera this week. Meetings all day today and lovely husband let me sneak in a run at tea time.

This is the Cornerhouse and the Palace Hotel on Oxford Road in Manchester. It was from Oxford Road station that I had my first glimpse of Manchester when I came to the city for a University open day. I had insisted on going by myself (typical teenager) and I was pretty hungover (ditto!) I remember being so overwhelmed at how tall and vibrant everything was, I knew straight away that this was where I wanted to be. And I've never looked back :-)
