Me, "What letter"?

"y'know....the one about you coming in to talk to my teacher"

Me, "I know what you mean.....it's just I never received that letter"

"Ooohh....it must have just distappeared (that's the way he still pronounces that)"

Me, "disappeared"!??

"Mrs Thompson gave me a bit of a row cos I haven't handed it in......I was meant to bring it in yesterday"

Me, "Where was the letter"?

"I don't know.....I fink it's just distappeared"
