Halloween

Had the Mathsoc Halloween party, spent the day wandering down to the venue to do last minute arrangements (lucky we did really, cos the manager who'd said they'd decorate the room for us had been suspended for taking the company's money and so there was a whole decoration disaster going on, but it turned out alright in the end).

Painted Andy's face to look like The Crow and then had to skiddaddle off to the gym for pilates before heading back into town for the party.

It was a good night all things considered. It was supposed to be a Mathsoc party but only 5 members showed up (and three of those were the committee). Consequently the prize for best costume went to the only member who turned up in costume and wasn't on the committee. She was dressed as a witch, which isn't very imaginative, but she looked really pretty anyway.

Other guests included: a pirate wench, the grim reaper, Luke Skywalker, another 3 witches, a pirate wench, a corpse, Zorro, Little red riding hood, two black cats, a murdered school girl, an axe murderer, an evil doctor and many more.

With all the assorted hangers on the room was quite crowded and we had a good old boogie for most of the night, and many drinks were consumed all around.
