Bella Vita

It has been quite some time since I pulled Balboa, our traveling lobster, out for a photo. My previous post on 10 June detailed how Balboa came to be part of our family and he has been featured in many of our our personal photos. We typically ask our server if we can take a photo of him or her holding Balboa. It is interesting to see various people react to holding him and being featured in our photograph.

Bella Vita was a fabulous restaurant located in a Palm Desert, CA strip mall (the Coachella Valley is loaded with strip malls, this looked like all the rest). When I asked these two (our server is on the right) to pose, I knew I wanted them in front of the big portrait on the north wall. They said yes, I quickly moved them over in front of the wall, and shot this quick photo.
