Inside #bus85
A source of some amusement ... not a lot - and only to the aficionados - has been #twitterbus; the ramblings of twitterati who suffer (and sometimes enjoy) the buses of Cardiff and Bath (and probably elsewhere).
Using the hashtags #bus85 and #bus28, I've occasionally chronicled events on these two bus routes on which I travel to and from work. In Bath - #bus14 looms large as an almost daily venue for mirth, expletives and near misses with calamity. Things are much more serene and peaceful on #bus85, the nearest to excitement one gets is the very occasional "drive" (Cardiff familiar name for the bus driver) who takes it upon himself to think he's driving a car rather than the shortened apology for a bus that is shown in the photograph. That leaves us all feeling a bit queezy, and he doesn't get the cheerful "thanks drive" as you alight. [Cardiff's a very polite place, or at least North Cardiff is, and the clientele of #bus85 are mostly of the bus pass genre.]
So, here's "Inside #bus85" - it was another slow blip day; it was raining; it had to be an inside photo; I didn't get the permission of the passengers to take their picture ... but then again I don't think any of them are recognisable - do you?
