The lives of us

Nessebar

We took a bus to Nessebar to see the remains of Byzantine churches and these 19th century wooden houses, which were beautiful, but we were initially quite dismayed at how overwhelmingly touristy the village seemed to be. However, head futher into the narrow, cobbled streets and the shops become more interesting, selling hand-crafted pottery, lace and old communist relics. Definitely worth an afternoon's exploration.
