Cob leaf

Woke up with a raging sore throat and general lethargy - the inevitable and annual September lurgy brought up by close contact with small children. In previous years I would have struggled in, spreading germs and feeling dreadful. I am older and wiser now (?) and went back to bed with some honey and lemon.
Consequently, today's blip is from the garden which still contains colour and interest. Sorry to those in denial, but Autumn is definitely upon us - this is my little nut tree, the leaves of which are already curling up and changing colours, and all 6 nuts gathered in!
