Little Lions Mouth
Walking home from the train station once again I had little lions for company.
Linaria vulgaris (toadflax or German: Leinkraut) is called "Löwenmäulchen = little lions mouth" where I'm from. If you carefully press the flower it opens up its mouth. I loved to do so when I was a child.
Pollination requires strong insects like bumblebees to open its "mouth".
