The Loons

A day of volunteering with the RSPB at the marshes of The Loons. Pretty strong winds and wintry showers rattling in from the northwest. Some bits of sunshine too, though.
We were removing a barbed-wire fence to allow cattle to graze over the marsh which will improve the habitat for birds. It was nice to open up the area, take that barbed wire!!!
