Said the bishop to the First Minister...

OK, so I didn't actually get an image of the Pope, but Alex Salmond, Scotland's First Minister will have to do instead. I was at work when Benedict was touring the city, so only got pictures of the build up. I don't know the exact reason for this photocall but I believe it was something to do with the St Ninian's Day parade which was part of the celebrations. I think it invites a caption competition. Any thoughts welcome.

Susie went for a run and got a good look of the pope as he was heading to Morningside for his tea, then was able to run down traffic free Lothian Road and Princes Street.
