Lakeside

On my way to the gym i took a photo of the the lake on the university grounds, the bridge and the hill in the background. I was standing next to the little boathouse and managed to "frame" this picture with foliage which i thought would look cool.

I often complain that Stirling University has the appearance of an Eastern European industrial estate, particularly on a grey and overcast day where everything just seems like its in monotone. It looked quite picturesque today though, i sort of felt like i was taking one of those cheesey pictures for the campus brochure but it turned out nice. One of the Halls of Residence building invades this shot but I suppose it better illustrates the industrial estate metaphor i mentioned.

Atleast it looks nice, where i live, sometimes.
