a labour of love

I am certainly no natural seamstress - far from it but last night I diligently sewed on my son's badges for Cubs - then they have been sitting around for nearly a year!

So when the sewing basket was still out this evening my three year old brought to me one of her hearts that had 'accidentally' come apart and asked me to fix it for her.

So in between stirring the risotto, signing consent forms for school and bringing in the washing, I sewed it back together.

I hope that mending her heart will always be this simple.
