Home made apple pie and butterfinger ice cream

I always make sure that I have some kind of dessert in the house for Tom and this time he got a home made apple pie. This is a great recipe but it is an "all morning" project. By the time I put it together and bake it, it takes about 3 hours. This pie doesn't get baked too often.
