Friends and liberty

It is said that technology helps us, it increases the amount of possibilities so we can maximize the quality of our relation to the world and, consequently, to each other; this is called Liberty. But this is a pretty economic way to think about liberty: more in less time.

If we go faster there are surely things that are left behind us. And the speed of these new modes of action is sometime in opposition to the "natural" rhythm of human. Exemple: I had a beer with a good friend, this takes time. But hey, is drinking beer so natural anyway?
