The call of nature

When the new Millenium came knocking at our doors, many council's decided to throw lots of cash at the weird and the wonderfull. Some cost load of dosh, others were just so ridiculous they were laughable.

We still live in the Hebrideies at the time and one guy with no funding just his sheer determination and ingenuity dragged some huge rocks along a path he had made up to a nice viewpoint. He then carved the figures for the Melenium on the rock. Mays a time I took my kids there and had a fabulous picnick.

Today when out walking my dog I came acorss on of Argyll's more weird and probably more costly markers. This lovely wee building which I have to say is wonderfull, is up a forrest track and is actually a dry toilet!

I bet the Cooncelor that thought that gem got and OBE (other buggers effort) gong for this whacky idea. Its not even on a popular track but a track that none the less is well worth the wee short one mile plod to see a beautiful view looking over the Crinan canal

Have a good blip weekend all[url=www.flickr.com/photos/howbeg
