The Doubleus got into some serious canoeing action today... only after first ensuring that not only had they organised sandwiches fit for royalty but that they were fully loaded with crepes, smoothies and Starbucks.

We did a "small" loop from St Regis Canoe Outfitters Floodwood Pond Base: taking in Floodwood Pond, Fish Creek, Little Square Pond, Copperas Pond, Whey Pond, Rollins Pond and another mini creek before finishing back at Floodwood. It took this crack team a mere 4 hours to complete this circuit.

M highlight was my "Algonquin" sarnie (roast turkey, applewood smoked bacon, avo, sprouts & russian dressing) taken "at sea", but for Mrs Doubleu, it was seeing me wearing our 2-man canoe as a hat on our 0.3 mile portage!
