trusty marigold

I took a bunch of photos of a beautiful red tulip in my garden today. They all turned out very average and I deleted most of them.

This was the second to last pic I took, and the petals fluttering in the breeze caught my eye.

It's a lovely day in Christchurch today. Got my washing dry on the line ahead of the cold snap that's predicted for tomorrow. I see it has arrived already in the south, with snow collapsing the roof of Stadium Southland. Bummer!
