GREEN & PLEASANT LAND

It's a gorgeous blue sky, sun shining kinda day here in South East London. A glorious day to be outside - so we went to the local park for this month's farmers' market. There were notices on the railings about an up-coming meeting: local people want to oppose plans for a skateboard area in the park.

My immediate reaction was an unequivocal NO to the plans, but now I'm not so sure - where would the sk8ers go, if not here? I'm sitting firmly on the fence on this one!
