Nostalgia trip - sitting in a lecture theatre at University College, London for the first time since the early 1980s (even if it was in the Medical Sciences and Anatomy Building, off Gower Street, a location I doubt I visited in my undergraduate days, which were spent largely in the old Seamen's Mission that later masqueraded as the UCL Union building).

The occasion was the AGM of the European Movement, UK, here seen being addressed by its excellent president, Charles Kennedy MP. I was pleased to hear Charles stress the importance on pushing and promoting EU action on the environment and climate change as one of the two key initiatives he expects from the European Union.
