We turned up at Croft top do a bit of towing and found a Scout's Air Jamboree taking place. Scouts were being given the task of navigating aircraft around the countryside. Among the volunteers were Bruce and Wendy from Eastbach airfield so it was nice to meet up with them again.
A great day for us too. I even got a bit mardy-arsed at being dropped off in an "inconvenient" part of the sky - which led to much banter and droll comments.
And we had to wear day-glo vests so we all looked like council workers.
