Jamie

This is my eldest boy, Jamie. Or should I say James as that's apparently how he wants to be known at the moment. Jamie is pretty strong willed. He's changed his name before, when we were in Dubai and he was about 5 years old. He decided he wanted to be called Joc, without a k. This resulted in a lot of confusion at school with phone calls and emails from teachers and school nurses. It continued for weeks before he decided to change it back to Jamie because he wanted to have more letters in his name than his brother.
He's 9 years old now and has very strong opinions about what he wears, his hair etc. He's not swayed by fashion or by what his friends are wearing, he knows what he likes. And usually he does well, although I did put my foot down over the purple, skinny jeans. They just looked wrong.
