The writings on the wall

Aberdeenshire Doors Open Day today ... had a Friends of UTG meeting in the morning then headed down into the South of Aberdeenshire, what used to be Kincardineshire.

The weather was terrible and I had to shelter under a brolly to take pics ... got a few good ones which will be on my flickr page in due course, but my blip doesn't reflect any great architectural gem, just some pencil scrawlings detailing vehicle maintenance on the wall of an old carriage bay in the stable block at Fasque :

13,595 Oil Changed 21st Feb 1958

12,126 Oil changed 10th March 1963

2 Front Tyres New Nov 24th 1965

Fasque is a Grade A listed building, the stables are Grade B listed in their own right but everything is pretty run down these days ...

Wonder how long this writing will survive on the walls ?
