Hosing Down

What a crazy day weatherwise! We thought we would treat my wife's Parents to a belated anniversary lunch in a new cafe in Lowther Gardens, St Annes. It was very windy when we headed out to there but when we actually sat down to eat...the heavens opened and I can't recall seeing a storm of such ferocity for a long time.

It was such a juxtaposition with the genteel surroundings of the cafe where Tea and cake was being served. It reminded me of the scene in Carry Up The Khyber where everyone was sat down to Supper as all hell broke loose outside!
