Sunshine on Leith
Went for a sunny wander round Leith with Loose Ends today and had lunch at the fab Turkish Café Truva. Love that place.
This mural is nearby on the corner of Ferry Road and North Junction Street and supposedly depicts Leith's historic connection with the sea. Has seen better days and is a bit faded now but some Photoshop tweaking brightened it up a bit.
We also came across a baby Seagull with a broken leg and wing and the poor guy was looking a bit worse for wear. Someone had called the RSPB so hopefully he's in good hands now.
If anyone is curious, the title is a reference to the famous Proclaimers song "Sunshine on Leith" - absolute classic!
