Depth and Drama

I love clouds. They are probably the thing I missed most when living under the sunny but completely flat and uninspiring Southern California skies. Landscapes that would otherwise look rather ordinary are brought to life by cloudy skies, sunshine that would otherwise simply beat down on you becomes awe-inspiring when cloudy skies capture some of its beams and shoot them out all around, and weekday morning commutes on my bike would be rather humdrum without clouds like those you see in this picture.
