Self-Stabilising

We visited High Woods Country Park in Colchester for a picnic. Its a popular location, close to residential areas to the north of the town complete with a visitor centre. I last visited with my younger daughter back in May. It has a fine woodland area, lake, Yovonne's dipping pond featuring newts, whirlygig beetles and pond skaters. The BIG garden, 'Colchester's most exciting organic fruit and vegetable garden' lies to the south of the woods from where most of the town's centre can be seen.

The main reason for today's visit though was to practice cycling in a safe area away from the roads. So here are the two girls, enjoying the freedom of the woodland tracks, without a stabiliser in sight.
