Through the square window ....

They rarely make fence posts like this any more .... the horizontal bars nestle neatly into niches in the posts, making them sturdy and ensuring that they'll be still standing in years to come. Alas this fence around a dew pond in the Downs has been knocked over in recent months.

I was listening to The Reunion with Sue McGregor who was interviewing four people involved with Play School. It was obviously the subconscious inspiration behind today's blip!
