Connecticut Warbler

Today, Massachusetts, the morning was sunny and cool, and I went to see if I could find the Connecticut Warbler that has been reported at the Cumberland farm fields. This is a life bird for me. I arrived about 7:30 AM and joined a group of birders that were already there, who reported that at around 7 o'clock they had seen the warbler in the trees where we are standing. Most of the group left, but 3 of us remained. We did see a number of other birds, but not the warbler. After about 30 min., suddenly the Warbler appeared. It went to a branch at the top of the tree where reposed in all its glory. In beautiful light being lit up by the sun. Life bird number 477 was found
