Allez!

This was the race start at early o'clock this morning. No messing around.. in the water and off! Two laps of the lake (1.9k). Followed by nearly two laps on the bike route (90k) - by all accounts it was a bit windy ;( Then one and a bit lap (21k) on the hilly, mostly off-road, run route. The gents finished within seconds of each other, and the rain stayed away too - one time we're glad the weather forecasters got it wrong.

I kept popping up to cheer them on - M. le Custard and HB both seemed in good spirits all the way round, grimacing only a little at the end, when they'd clearly given all they had.

Its a great day, friendly all round and super scenic to boot. Good times.
