Crunchie
We've had a fab day in Dunedin today. My wife is attending her med school 20 year reunion. Imagine that - must be pretty old ;-)
Anyway, while she was off recounting sordid tales of student days, the kids, Grandma and I went to cafes, farmers markets and the Cadbury factory. No points for guessing which as the kids favourite, yes, you guessed it - the chocolate factory.
Of course, lots of chocolate was consumed, and endless chocolate aromas inhaled. The highlight for me was seeing 1 tonne of liquid chocolate plummeting into a vat - it takes 30 seconds For the kids, eating the chocolate and the 5 metre high mountain of cruchie bars.
Also managed to squeeze in a 32 k ride around the peninsula - very nice.
Off to Lanarch Castle tonight for a ball tonight. I think it's New Zealands only castle, and not surprising given that Dunedin is apparently modeled on Edinbrough.
