La montagna spaccata

This is the entrance to "split mountain", a deep mountain crevice just a few minutes from home. I spent the afternoon here, climbing the steps through the gorge and admiring the sight and sound of the rushing torrents of clear water. The obligatory hard hat added to the sense of adventure and lent a certain degree of comedy too!
